As concerns insurance issues,
     including the functioning of the insurance market’s entities, the Institute’s activity comprises:

• Monitoring processes undergoing on the Polish and other countries’ financial markets.
• Analysis of the existing insurance products,
• Creation of new risk securitizing products and of systemic solutions,
• Keeping statistics and data basis in respect of the analyzed scopes of legal and insurance knowledge,
• Prevention and insurance delinquency counteracting, etc.

As concerns risk management

The Institute conducts research on the issue of risk connected with the activity of various entities – companies, institutions, local government units. It investigates, among others, risks connected with insurance, finance, third party liability, natural risks, computer technologies, medias, force majeure etc. The institute identifies various types and scopes of risk, creates risk management systems and estimates its consequences in connection with economic aspects.  It works out methods of elimination / limitation of loss occurrence, minimization of risk costs. Additionally, the institute works out strategies of risk management in situations of crisis, models of risk management based on risk identification, designs control systems within risk management.

As concerns insurance delinquency prevention and counteracting

The Institute recognizes and rationalizes actions connected with counteracting insurance delinquency, designs control systems within risk management, realizes works connected with procedures’ and standards’ unification and control in dispersed structures, analyses IT fraud hazards, defines policies / safety rules and conformity with required laws and regulations. It creates economic data bases, information about the financial credibility and risk securitization by business partners. It elaborates systemic solutions of preventing and fighting against insurance / financial delinquency.

As concerns education

The Institute studies the financial and insurance market in terms of its educational needs. It organizes trainings, workshops, symposiums and conferences on issues being of the Institute’s interest. It works out and realizes education projects aimed at raising the knowledge level of the management, specialists and essential employees.

The Institute monitors domestic and international trends and financial and insurance solutions, risk management solutions, actions connected with fighting against insurance delinquency, in order to implement the best solutions.

It conducts a publishing activity in the range of propagating knowledge about the insurance market mechanisms and the importance of observing risk management rules. It also provides educational activity organizers with indispensable didactic and auxiliary materials.

The Institute cooperates with institutions, organizations and insurance law specialists, experts, domestic and international consultants in risk management and insurance delinquency counteracting.
